Swichon Is Pleased To Announce New Home

Greetings Swichon readers. You may have noticed a recent slowdown in Swichon’s content generation. The slowdown is due to a necessary move of Swichon to it’s new site. We are pleased to announce the new home of  http://www.swichon.info. This move will effect better integration with search engines and allow more awakening folks to find the caffeine they desire.

The move appears to have gone very smoothly thus far and no major changes have been made or should be experienced by the user. However, there remain a great deal of housekeeping type issues to resolve relative to the change (checking and repairing if necessary all links, feeds, and such). The forum was not able to be saved and is being rebuilt at this time. Swichon is working to have these remaining issues resolved as soon as possible.

In the mean time, the old site at http://swichon.gargotto.com/ will continue to function as normal until all housekeeping is completed and it becomes appropriate to place a move announcement page there. Please take advantage of the links to the left and the headline feeds available on the red menu above to keep up to date with current events and issues.

This past weekend, a German newspaper article on the smoldering “Greece” fire implied that “too big to fail” AIG was a source of credit default swaps for the financially ailing nation. According to the article, this information came from a London investment banker. Of course, this isn’t surprising, but it is terribly disturbing, nauseating, and infuriating.

th_PinoccoTimmyDon’t forget that Benny and Timmy will go to any lengths necessary  to ensure that AIG does not fail. Particularly if Goldman Sachs somehow has their tentacles involved in those deals. That’s right. Hanky Panky Paulson was the chief engineer of the first version of Troubled Assets Relief Program that he was able to perpetrate upon the American people just prior to leaving his post. AIG owed GS and it was the fact that if AIG went down, GS would go belly up, that shoved the so-called crap sandwich down our throats.

If you think this sounds goofy, I would remind you of the 8 billion dollars of TARP funds that went to Dubai after it was laundered through Citi way back in 2008. Well, it just seems like a long time ago after the tens of trillions worth of looting by these punks. I guess I’ll just have to accept that thinking in terms of trillions these days can only equate to a matter of months instead of years or decades. In any case, the US international welfare engine is cranked up and humming nicely now as pointed out by Lord Monckton in a previous Swichon NASA welfare article. Hmm, I detect a clear pattern here. Is that going to happen in this case? It remains to be seen, but the chances look pretty good. Again, how many American mortgages would that $8 billion have paid for? At this point, we don’t even know what the price tag will be for the Greece fire. If you are not infuriated about this, you need some more caffeine.

POLICE CHIEFS RESIGNING/FIRED – UPDATE

Here’s an update to the infamous police chief resignation/firing list. Swichon’s original article and the compiled list are found here: http://swichon.gargotto.com/2010/02/police_chiefs_resigning/.

The score after the first 10 items according to our definitions  is 25% LEGIT and 75%  FAIL. Sorry, but the first 10 assertions on this list is not accurate enough to interest me in spending any more time on it – not even close. If anyone is interested in keeping this going, please register and submit your research links in your comments.

One of the hottest current internet conspiracy rumors that is driving sheeple nuts is this list of police chief’s from all across America suddenly resigning with no warning or reason given. While Swichon would certainly welcome these assertions as a confirmation of the plan outlined in the previous Swichon article Obama Prepares For Martial Law, the very structure and vagueness of the list prohibits me from doing so.

Check the list for your self at http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=dad_1265787025. The origins of the list are unknown, but it seems to be of the spam-email variety. Someone – maybe or maybe not the actual author – even made a video to hype this.

Notice that the author gives a list of 70 towns with recent Police chief turnover as well as four cities. He so kindly includes some meaningful information with 8 of the first 9 items, presumably to provide some validity and no links to research. Then he rather stupidly exclaims that the first four and Tulsa are verified and the reader should help out by researching. Incidentally, little old’ Swichon is wondering why someone would go to the trouble of putting a list like this together and include no supporting info. Of course there is no information on where to forward your research either, so we’ll do it here.

First we’ll verify the verification beginning with number one. We’ll leave this post up and periodically update it until finished or until it fails to meet a 70% legitimacy rate per 10 entries. Legitimacy is defined as being referenced by an article from an established news organization (newspaper, radio or TV station, government site etc.) not solely from someone’s blog, and there must be no circumstances relative to the resignation that would be an obvious or reasonable cause for resignation (i.e. The chief is caught embezzling department funds and resigns out of embarrassment) and not necessarily falling under the NWO plan. Ratings will be 1 point per item and may be divided if cause is not reasonably certain. Research contributions are welcome. Please register for comments and post links from your research.

Anyone want to make a bet how this will turn out? Let’s have some fun.

  1. 2010-01-15 Gaithersburg, MD: John King:  http://www.gaithersburgmd.gov/poi/default.asp?POI_ID=309&TOC=307;309;&id=4203. Leaving to pursue private sector job. Replaced by state police on “interim” basis. LEGIT
  2. 2010-02-05 Guttenberg, IA: Terry Johnston: http://www.thonline.com/article.cfm?id=272146  No reason given after 7 months on the job. LEGIT
  3. 2010-01-04 Harrisburg, PA: Richard Pickles: http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2010/01/pickles_steps_down_as_harrisbu.html. Dude was filling in after retirement of previous chief one month earlier and until newly elected and just sworn in mayor appoints her new chief. FAIL
  4. 2010-01-13 Culpeper VA: Scott Barlow:  http://www2.starexponent.com/cse/news/local/article/chief_barlow_retiring_from_culpeper_pd/50319/  50 year old dude has 25 years at captain rank or better. Just completed building a new police station. Thought it was a good time. I will buy that and give this a .5 LEGIT and .5 FAIL.
  5. Carbondale, IL No name or date given or found. No mention of turmoil, resignations, or firings in the local publications listed here http://www.epodunk.com/cgi-bin/localProx.php?  or here http://carbondalepolice.com/chiefs-message.php. It seems the current chief has been on the job since April of 2009 http://gallery.pictopia.com/thesouthern/gallery/82096. FAIL
  6. 2010-01-19 Austin, MN: Paul Phillips: This guy is a 31 year police dept veteran and had replaced the previous chief who was dismissed on a felony drug conviction. He has had some sort of misconduct complaint filed against him but no details available yet. He claims that he doesn’t want to cause any more pain for the community following the issues surrounding the previous chief. It’s certainly unclear what’s happening here, but it’s possible he is actually guilty of something embarrassing and would prefer to  retire at 55 with a nice publicly funded pension as opposed to fighting the charges. Reference: http://www.austindailyherald.com/news/2010/jan/20/police-detective-says-chief-will-be-missed/ and http://www.austindailyherald.com/news/2010/jan/19/police-chief-retire-end-month/ and http://www.austindailyherald.com/news/2010/feb/05/school-board-vote-resolution-remove-curt-rude/.  Give this one a .5 LEGIT and .5 FAIL.
  7. 2010-01-08 Jonesboro GA: Tim Jessup: The article states “after only 5 weeks”. But if fails to mention that he was appointed interim chief in May 2009 after dismissal of the previous chief for wearing blue jeans on the job and disrespecting the office of the mayor. He was then made official chief on Dec 3, 2009. Jessup claims that he is more suited to investigation instead of administration and has accepted a position in the Sherriff’s dept in internal investigation. It seems reasonable to come to that conclusion after 8 months and make the move he made. He certainly is not disappearing to a bunker somewhere. His replacement is from within the same Jonesboro police department. Reference: http://www.mycountypaper.com/claytonnews/headlines/80767657.html and http://www.mycountypaper.com/claytonnewsdaily/headlines/80967197.html and http://www.mycountypaper.com/claytonnews/headlines/81200547.html.  This one is a FAIL.
  8. Manassas VA: No name or date given or found. For starters, there is a Manassas VA, and a Manassas Park VA, with separate police departments. For Manassas, the current chief John J Skinner has occupied that position since at least Jan 2008 as seen in this January 14, 2008-Regular City Council Meeting Minutes – Manassas, VA and is still the current chief as seen here Manassas VA Police Dept City Page. Same deal for Manassas Park VA. The current chief John Evans has occupied that position since at least 2005 as seen in this city budget document (page 14) from fiscal year 2005. The only possibly related item Swichon was able to find is the resignation of a Manassas Park police Captain Travis Mosher after being arrested for stealing the Fire Chief’s truck amid gunfire. Can you say “Embellishment” ? Another FAIL
  9. West Covina CA: No name or date given. Current chief Frank J Wills has been chief since at least March of 2000 when he endorsed a candidate for judge. However lieutenant Bob Tolich resigned unexpectedly and without giving reason. A 51 year old and 21 year veteran, he was not the chief. Another FAIL
  10. 2010-01-18 Oroville, CA Kirk Trostle: This guy’s local government was as messed up as Washington DC. He had evidently had enough fighting between the mayor and city council and resigned to take a job as captain at the Chico Police department. So, a legitimate reason and not disappearing into a bunker. Yet another FAIL.

The score after the first 10 items according to our definitions is 25% LEGIT and 75%  FAIL. Sorry, but the first 10 assertions on this list is not accurate enough to interest me in spending any more time on it. International Welfare Via NASA

It’s hard to know whether to laugh or cry on this one because it’s so incredibly stupidand sad at the same time. As the American economy flounders with its citizens losing their jobs, homes, healthcare, retirement, and let’s face it – their dignity – the Obama Administration is now planning to turn NASA into an international welfare agency funded by the shrinking number of Americans who still manage to work.

Our pimp President has directed NASA – already a shell of its former self – to establish reach-out programs for Muslim countries. Secretary Of State Clinton followed by stating we will be funding these programs to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars on such topics as "educational program that examines global climate change". Good grief! Man made climate change has already been proven a failure. And does anyone really think it will stop at hundreds of millions of dollars?

When did NASA become an international social organization anyway? What type of space agenda does Indonesia have? What type of contributions are they able to make? Would any of those contributions positively affect the lives of American citizens? Surely, this money would be better spent at home.

Consider the budget projections presented in the Swichon article CBO Budget Data Casts Light On Obama’s Over-Spending – Projections Through 2019 Still Hundreds Of Billions In The Negative.
The discretionary spending projections alone for 2010-2019 are over 12 trillion dollars. This does not include the failing US social programs already in place to support Americans that are represented in the mandatory projections of over 22 trillion dollars for the same time period.

Here’s a little food for thought. Let’s take the generally accepted round number of 8 million unemployed Americans, many of which are already getting unemployment or other assistance. Let’s say we wanted to hire them at a living wage of say $25,000.00/yr . Now a little math:

8,000,000 workers X $25,000 dollars per year wage =  $ 200,000,000,000 per year expense. That’s two hundred billion dollars per year.

Now take a close look at the debt clock at the top of this page or better yet check the breakdown at US Debt Clock .org. As of this writing on February 17, we’ve already collected nearly $290 billion dollars in revenue in 2010. Think about this for a moment. Why can’t we afford to hire the unemployed as opposed to keeping them on the unemployment/welfare apparatus. Wouldn’t we be better off hiring them for any number of things instead of what we’re doing? It could be picking up garbage off the side of the road. It has to be better if society gets some benefit as opposed to just dishing out unemployment to sit at home. Workers earning money, and then spending it, creating more customers for businesses, causing them to need more staff; and so on. What a novel idea.

What’s that? You say it’s a bad idea for the government to be the employer for all those people. Swichon agrees to an extent. There’s nothing wrong with government competing fairly and hiring folks to perform tasks that need to be done. But why not also stabilize the culture of taxation and regulation such that business are able to have some sense of what the business climate will be in the foreseeable future, therefore enabling them to hire more staff. Getting folks hired, privately or publicly, has to be better than the status quo. But why can’t it get done? The money seems to exist, but why can’t it stay here?. Where the heck is it going?

Well, if it’s not being wasted internally, it’s going to a vast number of programs like the new one announced below. The point is, that there is no reason for American citizens to be in their current state except for the fact that American wealth has been pillaged by the International banks and other international organizations. The below is evidence that they only have plans to accelerate the pillaging to America’s ultimate destruction.

  • 2010-02-16 NASA plans more outreach to Muslim countries
WASHINGTON — NASA Administrator Charlie Bolden said Tuesday that President Barack Obama has asked him to “find ways to reach out to dominantly Muslim countries” as the White House pushes the space agency to become a tool of international diplomacy
  • 2010-02-14 Hillary Clinton Remarks at the U.S.-Islamic World Forum
We are creating a Global Technology and Innovation Fund, which we will launch this spring, that will provide hundreds of millions of dollars in capital to small and medium-sized businesses throughout the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. In April, President Obama will host a two-day Summit on Entrepreneurship in Washington, which will bring together innovators and entrepreneurs and business people from 50 countries on 5 continents, along with their American business counterparts, to work to establish a network that can support these kinds of advances.

Excuse me? How about giving some talented unemployed Americans hundreds of millions of capital dollars to establish businesses - and hire others – in America. Don’t try to tell us that foreign investment is good for us. America has been the most charitable nation in all of history. Where has it gotten us? Even many of the beneficiary countries hate us. Is there any evidence that NAFTA was a good thing for America? Nope, and we don’t need to spend $1 million dollars per-troop-per-year to have military deployment either. Let’s leave them alone and keep our money here.

In any case this seems to be in keeping with the globalist playbook outlined by Lord Monckton last October even without having signed the Copenhagen treaty. “We don’t need no stinking treaty to execute our plan”.
